Hero

Hero is our very genetically diverse small standard keeper from our 2018 Jade and Hunter “Avengers Infinity” Litter. He was purple boy, Stark. He is co-owned with my friend, Ann Conrad of Regency Poodles. His dam, Jade, is a genetically diverse parti and his sire, Hunter, is an apricot kleinpudel from very different Russian and Swedish lines.

Hero is very diverse according to the UC Davis Genetic Diversity Test and the BetterBred.com analysis tools. His Outlier Index is .64 OI, his Internal Relatedness is .01 IR, and his Average Genetic Relatedness is -.21 AGR. Ann and I are very excited about using him in our programs!

Hero is a wonderful joyful and sweet boy. He is a fabulous cuddler and just loves everyone he meets. He is super confident in every situation. He loves to train in Rally Obedience with me and we hope to compete later for Rally titles. He is my “parcour” poodle and is very athletic. He can jump over just about anything. If I don’t end up guardianing him (the original plan), I’d like to do some agility training with him when life gets less busy around here.

I showed Hero at an IABCA show in Austin and we earned his International Title with so many wonderful written comments by the judges, however, I procrastinated and didn’t send it in with his IABCA registration within the time limit. So, we will have to do it all over again! Some of the comments we got were, “typey, poodley attitude, aristocratic head, correct dark almond eyes, nice ear set and length of ear leather, proper side gait with reach and drive, good coat texture and color, balanced, good shoulder layback, good spring of rib, nice feet, good bend of stifle, correct tail set and carriage, nice level back.”
