Aubrey

Aubrey joined MoJazz Poodles’ breeding program recently in 2020, already 2 years old, and shown and titled by her breeders. She was bred by my friends’ Jennifer and Mike of MnJ Poodles, and she is co-owned with Jennifer.  Aubrey earned her UKC CH and has 2 legs towards her Grand Championship, a Best In Show and 2 Reserve Best in Shows with Jenn and Mike. 

Aubrey is genetically diverse according to the UC Davis Genetic Diversity Test and the BetterBred.com analysis tools. Her Outlier Index (OI) is .33 OI, Internal Relatedness (IR) is -.06 and her Average Genetic Relatedness (AGR) is -.10. With her great diversity and the fact that she is at/at (double phantom) and carries parti, I’m very excited about using her in my program for eventual diverse phantoms, phantom carriers, and red parties.

Jennifer told me Aubrey was super chilled and calm, likes to lay on the couch alot, and will come get attention on occasion but not super needy. Well Greg turned her into a lap dog the first week she was here! She is pretty calm, loves her chew bones, and gets along great with all our dogs, but instead of the couch she now likes to climb in our laps and snoozes there.  She will wait her turn for attention but will grab the spot in front of you as soon as another dog moves out. I really love this happy but calmer girl, and can’t wait to see the temperament on her puppies! 

Her first litter was at MoJazz Poodles with Hero. We originally thought her 2nd would be at MnJ Poodles and she went back to live there for awhile. Unfortunately my friend’s major back issues forced her to get out of standard poodles, so Aubrey came to Colorado and lived for awhile with a temporary guardian home. She had 2 gorgeous litters with DJ before retiring from breeding. I have loved the temperaments of all of her puppies.
